QUAIRADING HOTEL: Will be having an Hawaiian Luau for New Years Eve from 7pm till late. Double Chase the Ace first draw at 9pm 2nd draw at 10.30pm. Come and see 2008 out with lots of fun.
QUAIRADING HOTEL RESTAURANT: Will be closed New Years Eve, open 2nd & 3rd January and will be closed Friday and Saturday 9th & 10th January,.
STOLEN: Person who stole ashtray from front of hotel please return immediately.
QUAIRADING YOUTH CENTRE: Will be closed all of January and will be reopening Friday 6th February 2009.
WATER AEROBICS: Starting Jan. 8th Thursday mornings 11am at the Swimming Pool. Normal entry fees apply.
QUAIRADING TELECENTRE: The Telecentre will be closing for holidays from MONDAY 12th January and reopening TUESDAY 27th January. Centrelink forms can be faxed from Post Office free of charge.
QDG. SENIORS GROUP: There is a Keith Potger (from The Seekers) concert in Bruce Rock on 24th January. Anyone interested in going please ring Shirley Stacey on 9645 1348 or Fran Smith on 9645 0070, if enough numbers a bus can be organized. Cost will be $22.00 per head, names by 12th January.
CATHOLIC CHURCH Parishioners farewell Fr Dariusz Basiaga. Fr is moving to the city and will be teaching students at La Salle School and supporting the Parish Priest at Greenmount. We wish Fr Dariusz all the very best on his new appointment and hope he enjoys the experience. We will have Morning Tea with Fr following the 10am Mass on the 18th January 2009. Please bring a small plate to share. ALL Welcome.
AUSTRALIA DAY: Quairading Shire will be hosting The Great Aussie Brunch for Australia Day, Monday 26th January, at the Bowling Club starting at 9.30am. This will be a FREE event for the community of Quairading. Children will have FREE admission to the Pool from 11am, normal pool regulations apply, sausage sizzle and prizes at the pool.
